I hope you are still doing this blog. I just found it online when I was looking for decorating ideas for my house. I want to do a "sophisticated cottage" (i.e. Pottery Barn) decor, and I want the main color to be "cream," with barn red and olive green as little "bursts" of color throughout the house. Does this sound like a good idea? If you have any suggestions for me as to how I can pull this off with paint and furniture and other decor, please let me know. I live in a colonial style house with lots of pretty millwork that can be played up. I'm starting to paint now, and could use some suggestions. You seem really talented and you have great ideas for decorating on a "shoestring" budget. Thanks! Sharon
