A Wreath Re-Do

Do you remember this wreath?

Well, now it’s this wreath:

I had just shoved all of that Fall fluff into the grapevine wreath, per the Nester’s perfectly imperfect advice. The day after Thanksgiving, I pulled all of that “stuff” out of it and wrapped around it two Christmas garlands I picked up for $2.99 each at Goodwill. I made a bow out of a lovely 50-cent roll of ribbon I found at one of our Dollar General stores that was going out of business.

Isn’t it just wonderful? Now, I feel like I need a wreath on that window all year long!

What are you repurposing from Fall decor into Winter decor?

Wondering how I hung the wreath on the window? I used a 3M Command Adhesive hook. I LOVE those things!

I can't keep up!! I just finished my topiary and will start on my wreath next. I was going to do the gumdrop wreath, then thought about doing an ornament wreath with my leftovers from the topiary, and now you had to bring the one with the letter…STOP and let me catch up! Geez!
Go see my stuff!

Lovely! I agree, a permanent wreath on that window would be awesome. :o ) I have a wreath over my mantle that I dress up differently for each holiday or season. It's my 'statement piece' as you walk into my familyroom.

I am repurposing the gold and mercury acorn ornaments. During the fall they graced my table and are now resting on a sled.

Come by as I have started my 3 weeks of crafts and decor.

Okay, I know I'm supposed to be oooing and aaahing over your cute wreath here but all I want to do is oooo and aaahh over your window treatments!!! Good Lord those things are MAGNIFICENT! I love them. All of that gorgeous material is making my heart beat faster. I'm not sure I'd be able to resist not running up to them and wrapping myself up in them if I were a guest in your house. (Lucky for you I'm far, far away huh? :) Seriously though, they are gorgeous and just perfect. The complimentary fabric on the pillows just pushes it over the edge. Love.

I'm going to be repurposing some candles – make them 'snowified' with some salt and mod podge!

Lindsay, you always have great ideas, and thrifty thoughts here. Thanks for making my day. I'm off to repurpose a whole bunch of Christmas stuff over here today that was bent or broken in our move last year. Who knows what we'll come up with but a wreath is a great place to start! :)
