One of the questions I get asked most often about my blog is how I got the decorative ‘B’ on the top of my little, black rehabbed desk.
Nope, it’s not painted, like most people think. It’s actually a vinyl monogram!
These days, vinyl monograms are perfect for uses other than simply putting on your walls. I’ve seen them on the back of car windows, on plastic lunchboxes and on galvanized buckets. Need to jazz up a plain piece of furniture like me? You can’t go wrong with vinyl decor!

Very hard to decide between cityscape and one of the growth charts (probably stars). So many great designs!
I am such a fan of these and just recently did a post on the words on walls, on furniture etc. in my house. I am currently working on my son's bedroom and would love to do a song lyric on the wall. You can never go wrong with the classic monogram! It looks perfect with every decor!
Rub a dub would be so cute in my kids' bath…even though they are 10, 19 and 22…okay, I'll go for the vine-y monogram for the front of an art deco chest I'm redoing. The veneer is destroyed (before I got it!), so I'll remove it…that would be so pretty on the front.
