Giveaway: Cutting Edge Stencils

June 10, 2010

Posted in: Giveaways & Product Reviews

This giveaway is now closed.

Months ago, I told you of my plans to update the powder bath in my home.  I wanted to do a big damask stencil on one wall, but I was having trouble pulling the trigger.  I said I’d order the stencil by the end of that week and that I needed you to hold me accountable.

Well, my powder bath still sits completely untouched (even though Eddie Ross told me I should go ahead and do it.  So cool!).  A stencil was never ordered, as I could never find “the one.”  I wanted a damask stencil, but they were never the exact design that I had envisioned, and you know how that goes.

I’m so glad none of you ever emailed me to ask what was up with the powder bath.  A new sponsor has joined me – Cutting Edge Stencils – and I know that now I have found “the one.”  Cutting Edge Stencils has the biggest selection of wall stencils that I’ve seen online – at fantastic prices – and I think I will be ordering this all over damask stencil very soon:

Anna Damask

Can’t you see it in shades of blue?  I can…and hopefully you’ll see that I’ve Tom has finished this project before the baby arrives!  He has to do all of the painting around here these days.  Nothing like a little pressure…

Cutting Edge Stencils has really unique stencils that can be used in any area of your home, and I fully believe that they have something for every decorating style.  I really love this look in a bedroom:

Spring Songbirds

I think it’s great how this traditional stencil designs looks so great with such contemporary furniture:

Damasque

I’ve always been a fan of the big, graphic stencils such as this one:

Allium Gladiator

Not only does Cutting Edge Stencils offer amazing products, but their website is incredible.  The page for each stencil shows it in several different applications and gives detailed instructions for painting the stencils onto your wall.  Even better, the detailed instructions, a color photo, and a free stencil is included with every order!

You’ve seen my favorites, so now it’s time to tell me yours.  Cutting Edge Stencils is giving away a stencil up to $40 in value to one lucky Living With Lindsay reader!  Your job is to hop over to the Cutting Edge Stencils website, pick out your favorite, and then come back and tell me which one you like the best in the comments below.  This giveaway will run through Sunday, June 13th.  Thanks to my friends at Cutting Edge Stencils for such an amazing giveaway!

Good luck and happy stenciling!

I loved every single one of the wall art stencils, but my heart jumped when I got to the very last picture of the fruit tree. Some of the vines with birds will make it into my daughters room and the ivy into my room, but that little tree will probably end up on the blank wall right by my dining room window that looks out over our front acre. A perfect transition from inside to out.

I love the Anna Damask stencil too….I am considering it for a wall in our living room. I really like how this company gives detailed instructions for using them. I would definitely need theses b/c I’ve never used a stencil like this before.

Thanks for another awesome giveaway!

There are so many I like…to pick only one is really hard! I’m also finding that I must be internally confused…I like several that are not similar in style at all! My 2 favorite are Lily Scroll and Hermitage Acanthus Coffer. But, I also love the very simple, Falling leaves!

I am in love with the Spring Songbirds stencil set that you featured! I have a tiny obsession with birds, especially bird decor, and my ultimate weakness, “birdie-shirts”! (I think I’ve collected at least 10 tshirts in the past couple of years) One of my favorite things about the weather turning warm is being able to wear my birdie shirts again (and flip-flops). Luckily my fabulous fiance puts up with the bird thing!

I just found your blog yesterday, and I love it! Great ideas and inspiration :)

Had my three daughters vote. They all have expensive taste but once I explained the concept of budget to them (i.e. under $40!!), they chose song birds on a branch. I would love to surprise them with it!

Spring Songbirds Wall Art Stencil …this is the one I like. I can see it behind my bed…I think I would paint the wall a soft turquoise first, then do the branches in a darkish taupe, and the birds a lighter beige or cream.

I think I need to try these out–so cool! I always think of the 80′s and stencilled ducks in baby blue and mauve when I think of stencils. But these are fun! I especially like the Garden Anemone stencil and the Zinnia’s!

I am in awe of the faux stencils, but ultimately, if I bought one right now, I’d probably go for the Virginia Creeper or Clematis and Butterfly, or the Olive tree. All are amazing. Beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
