When you decide to update your bedroom, choosing new bedding is one of the most important choices that you will make. Your bedding sets the tone and feel of your room, and it narrows your options for a color palette.

Obviously, many local stores – such as department and discount stores – sell bedding, but their selection isn’t very large. You can find gorgeous bedding at boutiques, but you’ll end up paying boutique prices. Thank goodness we have the internet!

One really great site to shop for bedding is BeddingStyle.com. They carry 11 of the top bedding brands, including Tommy Hilfiger, Marimekko and Vera Wang, and offer a tremendous selection within those brands.

I am helping one of my friends update a few rooms in her home, and BeddingStyle.com was kind enough to let me select new bedding for her room. We chose the Embroidered Cane in Lime duvet from Tommy Bahama. We are looking to add some color to her room, and I thought the duvet went great with the style of her bed. The choice of the Embroidered Cane duvet was a good first step in the transformation or her room.

The duvet and shams arrived quickly, and I was immediately impressed by the quality of the Tommy Bahama line. With three young children and a giant dog in the house, it’s nice that the set is 100% cotton and machine washable!

For a quick pop of color, I added a green velvet(ish) pillow and a flocked turquoise damask pillow from Target. They aren’t going to be my “final” choice for the room, but they at least make the bed look a little more finished while we are selecting the rest of the items for the room.

Hi lindsay, I am so excited about your giveaway! I love the site.. the bedding makes me want to cuddle up in my bed, I went through a lot of the beddings but the Manor Hill beddings caught my attention the most. I love Tommy Bahama but am torn between the Breezeway Palm and the Bali. Breezeway palm has great texture to it, but there is also something about that gold tone of Bali that I like with my oak wood floors and blue walls.

I love the Laura Ashley Glenmoore Quilt. This would look great in my bedroom as I love the sage green & the rose patterns in it. This is made very well all so. I have a Laura Ashley Quilt Set already as I have had it for 8 years now & it still looks the same as I first bought it. It keeps me warm in the winter & cool in the summer too.

I like the one you chose (Cane in brown) or the Andros Peyton – white so I can use my pillows and furniture as my pops of color and change them out as often as I like – wouldn’t have to repaint either – it only took 3 years to get that done

I would choose the ‘Manor Hill Jaida’…. We bought a 3pc picture set from ‘Kirklands’ last summer and I still haven’t gotten around to purchasing new bedding, but THIS set has all of the colors from the pictures.. It would be perfect on our bedroom!

It would be a difficult choice, given so many great options, but the Laura Ashley Glenmoore is one of my favorites. It’s a nice seasonal balance of colors; light and cheerful enough for Spring and Summer, but warm and cozy enough for Fall and Winter.
